I completed my residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology. I enjoyed practice for over 25 years in the metropolitan Detroit area. Through my current position as a Physician Consultant in Care Management at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, I was afforded the opportunity to attend the 2019 Maternal And Infant Health Summit in Lansing, MI. It was at the Summit that I learned of Dr. Shalon Irving through the heartfelt message shared by her mother, Mrs. Wanda Irving, as she recounted the circumstances surrounding Dr. Irving’s tragic and preventable death. It was without reservation that I was compelled to connect with her in this initiative to ensure that no other family has to experience the impact of Maternal Mortality crisis firsthand.

I am a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Founder, and President of Each One Teach One, a 501c3 non-profit organization whose mission is youth empowerment through community engagement. In my spare time, I enjoy golf, tennis, and spending time with my family.
